MAS-AMiCUS CMU Training Program
Training Program Statement
SDA youth are not all alike, and we know that very well. All SDA students enrolled in CMU came from different family and Church backgrounds. Although Seventh-day Adventists by name, still, the difference in how a person was being raised is evident in the physical, emotional, and spiritual realm. That is why MAS-AMiCUS CMU Training Program came to exist (formerly known as Aspirancy Program). It has been started since 1990 creating a unified alliance among SDA youth in the campus. Its main purpose is to train and equip SDA students to become professional student missionaries in CMU and its neighboring communities. Through training, all differences are set aside, and only the Bible and the counsels of Spirit of Prophecy are being given the authority to serve as a guide in molding such youth.
Vision
As the students communed with God and studied His Word and His works, wisdom from above will be added to their natural endowments. A spirit of devotion will be cherished. Students will be taught the duty of prayer, how to pray, how to approach their Creator, how to exercise faith in Him, and how to understand and obey the teachings of His Spirit.

MAS-AMiCUS is a duly recognized non-profit, non-class organization of Seventh-day Adventist students in Central Mindanao University. Its intentions were to bring on a more specific outreach focus, in ways that do not compromise our faith; not to be different, but with a message that brings personal joy; to reach within our university with compassionate service as demonstrated by Jesus Christ; to reach out to the community's felt needs and point them to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who raises us to a higher standard of physical, mental, and spiritual living; to share with other Christian and non-Christian students the good news of Jesus' soon return; to reach out to local Adventist churches in loving services; and, to be a nurturing link with Adventist students, Adventist Youth Ministries, and the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
